Maria Stromvik : ‘Waterscapes’ Series (Photography)

Maria Stromvik is an amateur photographer who started photographing in the summer of 2009. She grew up by the seaside in southern Sweden, and the sea – as well as water in other forms – is a recurrent theme in many of her photographs. The choice of working in black and white was never really a choice.

Alessandro Puccinelli : ‘Mare’ Series (Photography)

“All my personal works are about the sea, as the presence of the ocean in my everyday life is a balancing factor that helps me reconnect with that internal equilibrium which, as a human being I all too easily lose. My almost morbid relationship with the sea derives from my passion for surf.” a puccinelli

Mario Giacomelli : Photography Series

“To be sure the landscape can’t run away, and yet I always fear that it may. [Sometimes] I must set up my tripod, so I worry that the landscape may disappear the next second and I don’t stop keeping an eye on it while I get prepared. Then, when pressing the shutter, I hold my breath. These moments are the greatest joys in my life, as if I were undressing the most beautiful woman in the world—that is, if she will allow herself be undressed. If the photo is a success, it means that she was willing. If not, it has been a lovely dream.” – Mario Giacomelli

Pierre Pellegrini : ‘Waterscapes’ Series (Long Exposures)

“For me, photography represents a wonderful means to communicate and, at the same time, to give the viewers the chance to feel emotions. I am not quite sure if it’s me who is looking for the themes or if it’s the themes themselves who are looking for me.
